I’m Stacey, the creator of AdaptaDrip.

I started requiring home infusions after receiving a life-changing diagnosis.  Following weeks of medical testing, surgical intervention, and education, I started receiving a tremendous amount of supplies to perform the infusions. In addition to 20-30 very large boxes filled with solutions, a scale, clamps, containers, etc., there was the IV pole. It was overwhelming.

I developed a system for performing the necessary tasks.  As I became more comfortable with my situation, I decided to take a weekend getaway.  My friend came to pick me up in a smallish car.  We loaded my bag, the boxes, and miscellaneous supplies.  When I brought the IV pole down, it would not fit!  Though this was a seemingly insignificant issue, it was devastating to me. 

Fast forward to the present. I’m grateful to report that I had a successful medical intervention and returned to living my life without infusions. Something reminded me of dealing with the IV pole and I began designing a device to serve as a portable, flexible IV pole alternative.   After a few iterations, AdaptaDrip was born!  I designed and patented this device with the hopes of alleviating at least one obstacle to those requiring in-home infusions.

How can AdaptaDrip be used?  

The IV bag (without a pump) is hung from the AdaptaDrip.  The AdaptaDrip can be hung over most hinged or accordion doors, on sturdy picture hangers (if able to support the full weight of the IV (bag), a nail (placed in a stud), from a sturdy curtain or closet rods, and other in-home fixtures. 

How much weight can AdaptaDrip hold? 

Please limit the weight being supported to 10 pounds. It is suggested that you only hang a single IV bag from the device to ensure its safe use.   

Can AdaptaDrip be customized? 

With a longer lead time, the length and possibly the color can be customized. Prices will vary. Reach out and let us know what you’re interested in. We’d love to help you.

Can the product be cleaned?

Yes. The webbing can be cleaned with alcohol. Bleach-based products are NOT recommended, as they can degrade the polyester webbing.

What is your return policy?

Please contact us if you are not satisfied. You can return AdaptaDrip within two weeks of receipt for a full refund, less the cost of shipping.

Do you sell in bulk volume?

Yes! We are happy to work with healthcare and wellness providers to provide them with products that are easier to store, manage, and offer their patients and clients more flexibility while receiving care. If you are interested in ordering more than 10 units, please reach out to us directly.
